About Pastor Lee Brumback
Pastor Lee Brumback enjoys watching the spirit change lives, and is always amazed how people respond when you challenge them to grow in faith and trust in God's will.
Lee was born in Winchester, Virginia. His family moved five times between the ages of 4 and 11, before settling in Martinsburg, West Virginia. It was there that God planted seeds for a call to ordained ministry. As an active member of St. John Lutheran, he took part in numerous youth activities and retreats; sang in several choirs; and served on various committees and the church council. This was a very important time in his spiritual development and growth.
He has a love for all kinds of music. During junior high and high school, he was active in the concert, jazz, and marching bands. He also marched with "The Cadets" Drum and Bugle Corps.
He attended Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, where he received an Associate of Arts degree in general studies and a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting. After graduation, he worked in public accounting and passed the CPA examination.
He received a Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. He has served this congregation since August 2010.
Lee and his wife have two sons and are enjoying the journey of parenthood.
